Facebook is Still Your Number One Social Media Platform for Direct Sales 

I’m deviating a little from the topic I have been so focused on lately which is mindset, and there is a reason. 

When I started this series, I mentioned BE, DO and HAVE as the key components to success in your Network Marketing business. We have covered much of the BE - who do you want to BE in network marketing? Who do you want to BE in life? Where is your business ultimately going to take you, beyond the STUFF and process of building? 

As we begin to move into HOW, things should be showing up for you. Go back and listen to the show archives, shows, 264-267 and I’ll have links in the shown notes. 

Get your mindset straight on who you want to BE and what we are becoming. As you do this, your mind is going to begin to give you downloads on what you will DO to create this. 

Pay attention to this. 

Facebook and Social Media will be a big part of this, most likely. And Facebook really expands your ability to attract and allow the right people into your business who are aligned with you, your mission and your goals. 

It’s universal law and principal and it must happen. 

I’ve shared my story of taking my business online before. The internet fell into place for me because I had become very aligned with my vision for my life and who I wanted to become. But, I was struggling with making it happen. 

I stayed committed though and things began showing up. 

I started learning the internet. Why? Because I was being guided to do this. 

Today, I am being guided to build my business through my Facebook business page, and Facebook Live, Youtube, my Blog and even some offline networking and in home events. 

And, I am paying attention.  

So, let’s focus on Facebook. 

It’s dominated by women, FYI, which of course is perfect for me and my business. Over 1 billion daily active users. Does that sound dead to you? 

EVERY single day, someone in your exact target audience, who may have been saying no yesterday is saying YES today. Why? Something changed in their life. Downsized, death in the family, illness, birth, relocation, frustration, whatever. It’s happened.  

When you stay consistent on Facebook, sharing your message and your vision, you will attract those right people to you!

Here are some ways to use Facebook to attract your right prospects. 

First, create a Facebook business page. This is your “store” on Facebook and the first and easiest place to take people to learn more about you and what you do. Brand yourself and your company and create engaging content and videos. Create custom photo albums that you can easily guide a prospect to, online or offline, to learn more and share your products. And, the business. 

Create a Facebook group for customers and would be customers. Teach, entertain and educate. Notice I didn’t say sell. This is the best way to sell. People will buy when they are given a solid reason. Build trust through education and entertainment. 

Never EVER add someone to a group without their permission. Ask them first and if they say yes, add them. Or give them the link directly after you ask and they say yes. 

Videos are an awesome way to do this and the internet, and facebook love video. Especially live video. Tweet me or message me if you want to see how I am using this in my own business. 

Through your business page and groups you can host events, and events are a great way to expand your message even further. 

Did you know that events you host on a Facebook business page get picked up by Google? Think about powerful keywords when you do this and make it count! 

What about your personal profile or Timeline? Should you be sharing there? 

YES, but in a careful and well played way! 

Post selfies and photos of your family and friends using your products. Make the text that accompanies these fun and light hearted, and not a sales pitch. 

Give a call to action in the text area that takes them to a VIP group or your Facebook Business Page. 

Use the 80/20 rule, with only 20% of your content at the MOST about your business. 

Engage and reach out to those who comment and like, but do it privately. You can comment back or like when they comment, but don’t pitch them publicly.

Your Why and Excuses in Network Marketing 

We’ve talked a lot about Why, and Vision and mindset mastery on the last few shows. Be sure and go back and listen so you are up to speed. 

Today. I want to talk about the power in your why. How do you know when your why is strong enough? Strong enough to propel you forward to success in Network Marketing? 

You know because it gets you off the couch, turning off the TV, and Youtube and Facebook funny videos and anything else that distracts you. 

The WHY creates the HOW. Always, and every time. 

Stop saying “If it’s God’s will, it will happen.” 

If God put it in your path, it means it’s his will, but He doesn’t do it for you. 

He doesn’t open every door, just like he didn’t for Oprah Winfrey, or Michael Jordan, or any top leader in Network Marketing. 

There are and will be struggles and obstacles, challenges. It’s not easy but it is simple. 

It happens with Action, and not Luck! 

What’s your mission in Network Marketing? Have you identified it? 

Who will you serve? 

You get the chance to plant seeds that will grow into trees that provide shade to people you will never meet or know. 

So, pay attention to your excuses. Get clear on your why. Check in on whether it is enough to get you into action and to turn off the TV.

I look forward to getting into today’s topic but first, I am just back from my company convention where I had an awesome time! I loved connecting with my team, and as much as anything, connecting with the culture of the company and being reminded of the mission, and what matters to me.

 

There is a vibe that occurs at your company convention that is worth its weight in gold.

 

It’s a great place to get yourself tapped into the feel good vibration that you need to manifest what you want. so I highly encourage you NOT to miss your company convention.

 

Because of that, I manifested some great things during and following convention. More on that.

 

What we think about comes about. There really is no arguing that point, and it’s proven just by looking around.

 

It’s not just WHAT you think about, but HOW you think about it and feel about it.

 

FEELING is really the biggest key.

 

You can THINK about something, but if you have a pit in your stomach, or you feel negative about it, then that is exactly what will show up for you.

 

I have talked the last 2 weeks about writing down your goals on your index cards. Have you done this? And, if so, are you taking the time to read these index cards, and really focus on what it is you want?

 

It works and I want to share some ways that it has worked for me, just in the last few weeks, as I mentioned about my convention.

 

I recently started using my dream book again. It’s been tossed in my nightstand drawer and I have not been giving it the due diligence it deserves.

 

Do you have a dream book? Have you taken the time to create one? How are you going to make a goal or a dream come true if you have never taken the time to get it on paper?

 

Here is what happened recently after I got into my “Feel good” place and began to REALLY focus on what I want, and really focus on spending at least 30 minutes each day focused 100% there.

 

I cut out some pictures and words for my dream book, and wrote on my index card about traveling first class and staying in upgraded rooms.

 

I got upgraded to First Class on my flight and got an upgraded room with a view at convention.

 

I focused on attracting the right people into my business and moving things ahead. 3 people reactivated in my business upon return.

 

Sales are up, sponsoring is up and it’s still summer.

 

This is when you are really in the zone. Athletes talk about this. Olympic athletes learn to go inward to draw on the strength they need to get the job done.

 

Have you felt that? THAT is where you want to strive to be and to stay.

 

When you set aside the time to go inward; to get into the zone, to go into your own creative workshop, and you get into the feel good place, you are unstoppable.

 

Doubt and fear is gone, and you are fully present and good to go. The more you do this. the more you develop that muscle and your brain to get there more easily, and to stay there more easily.

 

Can you do this when you are faced with challenges? When you hear no, or encounter something that takes you away from that pursuit of goal, can you easily find your way back?

 

Find your happy place! Put a note up that says that - Find your happy place. Do what you need to in order to get and be there as much as possible.

 

Focus on and move toward your goal!

 

Develop a sense of delusion! Don’t look at the goal in the moment you are, look FROM that goal as if it has already occurred.

 

Everything ever created was done by looking back. By visualizing the end goal and then working it backwards to create it.

 

Think of your smart phone. Same thing.

 

Think of the Wright Brothers and developing the first airplane that flew. How many times did they see it before it took off?

 

Same with Thomas Edison and the light bulb.

 

 

Bob Proctor does an awesome series on the 11 forgotten laws, beyond just the law of attraction, which we most often hear about.

 

In the law of supply, he talks about the unlimited sources that are out there.

 

If one person in your company creates wealth and success, it does not take away from your ability to do the same.

 

We don’t want to feel ungrateful for what we have, and so looking toward something else sometimes creates a distraction and a sense of confusion.

 

So, think about it this way - dis satisfaction is a creative state. And. it does not have anything to do with being grateful or happy.

 

It’s just about longing for more, and wanting MORE encompasses a lot.

 

You want to plant your dreams and focus in the right ground.

 

Think of an acorn. Planted in soil, it thrives and grows into a mighty tree. Stuck in your pocket, it shrivels and dies and loses its ability to reach its potential.

 

Same with your goals. Plant them in a negative mind, they will never thrive. They will only rise to the level of the negativity.

 

Plant them in a vibrationally positive and receptive mind, and stand back, success is yours!

We are focusing on Be, DO and HAVE for overall success in your Network Marketing business and we are starting the first 30 days with BE. Who do you want to BE or become through your business. 

Remember this - to achieve it, you must first be able to SEE it. 

Last week, I started with the first sentence from the Science of Getting Rich, which is - 

Whatever may be said in praise of poverty, the fact remains that it is not possible to live a really complete or successful life unless one is rich. 

And, we talked about how use of the word RICH can be off putting, but Rich is much more than money. It’s everything that makes up your life, so if you are just joining the show, be sure and go back and listen to last weeks. 

I know that the most important resource my son has in Marine Corps bootcamp is his mind, because that is what will push him through to the end. He has one goal, and one goal only right now, and that is to pass 13 weeks of bootcamp, and what is arguably the most strenuous physical challenge he will ever endure. 

If he can do that, you and I can certainly spend 13 weeks growing our own mindset for success in our business, and life! 

The first paragraph in Chapter two of the Science of Getting Rich says - THERE is a Science of getting rich, and it is an exact science, like algebra or arithmetic. There are certain laws which govern the process of acquiring riches; once these laws are learned and obeyed by any man, he will get rich with mathematical certainty. 

The ownership of money and property comes as a result of doing things in a certain way; those who do things in this Certain Way, whether on purpose or accidentally, get rich; while those who do not do things in this Certain Way, no matter how hard they work or how able they are, remain poor. It is a natural law that like causes always produce like effects; and, therefore, any man or woman who learns to do things in this certain way will infallibly get rich. That the above statement is true is shown by the following facts: Getting rich is not a matter of environment, for, if it were, all the people in certain neighborhoods would become wealthy; the people of one city would all be rich, while those of other towns would all be poor; or the inhabitants of one state would roll in wealth, while those of an adjoining state would be in poverty. 

So, what is this certain way? Well, it sounds easy, just put the thought of what you want to achieve in your mind, think on it, and allow it to show up. 

But, as you will soon realize, or possibly already have, it’s more than just thinking. It’s more specifically FEELING! 

So last week, the assignment was to write down who/what you want to become through your business. 

Write it on an index card and begin to focus on it a few times, each day.

Remember this - I THINK, therefore I AM.  

Any piece of the puzzle that can change your AM is bold and necessary for you to take your business to the level you want it at. 

So, if you did that exercise, weigh in on how you feel. Was it easy? Was there resistance? Did you find your mind automatically going to the HOW - as in HOW are you going to make this happen? 

This happens in Direct Sales. We set a goal and then we get busy on the action steps we must take to make it happen. Who is on our list? What are we going to say? How will we show the business? 

What will we do when they join? 

But, how much time have you spent on your belief? On your true mindset around whether or not YOU can be successful? 

How much time do you spend each day thinking about your business? Think of a time amount? 

How much of that time is spent with a bit of disbelief about whether or not you can make it happen or a huge focus on HOW you are going to make it happen? 

Instead of focusing on HOW - how do you do this in network marketing, how to you say this? How do you attract leads, and so on, we are going to focus first on BE. 

My whole business changed when I learned to enjoy the journey, and at one point I thought that was the most ridiculous thing ever. How could I enjoy myself when I was no where near where I want to be. 

But, once I relaxed and started paying attention to my thoughts, my self talk and then my actions, it made all of the difference in the world. 

I learned that when I took time each day to pray, meditate and do some vision work on who I wanted to become and what I wanted my life to look like, the HOW began to show up. 

As I shared last week, the internet dropped into my lap once I relaxed and it changed my whole business and life.

My Direct Sales Online Coach tells EXACTLY how I did and how you can do it, 

But most people will never do it. 

So, for this week, continue with your practice on your index card. Expand it a little. Write out your whole vision for your life, including everything from business to relationships to where you live, the car you drive, trips you take and so on. 

Quick question - will you do this? Will you REALLY do this? 

I hope you will. 

Once you do, recite it to yourself, out loud and pay attention to the feelings that come up. IF you feel resistance, of any kind, note where. Heart, head, middle of stomach. 

Ask yourself why and listen. 

Then, close your eyes, and think of a REALLY happy time in your life. See it, feel it, envision it. 

Then, while feeling that awesome feeling, focus back on this new vision you have for your life. Recite the vision, Feel it. See it in your mind. 

Work on letting go of the resistance you feel, and replacing it with belief. 

Sounds easy, but I promise you, it’s the toughest work you will ever do. 

But, it is without any doubt in my mind whatsoever, the most important work you can do in your business. 

Look around you. Everything you see started in the mind of a true believer. Everything. Someone thought it first, believed it and then allowed his/her mind to deliver the download on how to make it happen. 

In the Science of Getting Rich, Wallace Wattles states - Your #1 goal is to become rich. A person's right to life means his right to have the free and unrestricted use of all the things which may be necessary to his fullest mental, spiritual and physical unfoldment; or in other words, his right to be rich. 

Let go of limiting beliefs, and the baggage from the past. They don't serve you. 

Focus on who you want to be. Write it down. Read it, Feel it and allow it to trigger the how.
