Why and Vision in Direct Sales

While walking on the beach, I was struck with huge gratitude to live in such a beautiful place, here by the beach in Ventura, California.

I am blessed by the freedom that my business offers to plan my own day and time, and no one else controls my agenda.

It caused me to reflect on how important Why and Vision in Direct Sales matter so much! It guides everything in our life, actually.

I have recently struggled with some peaks and valleys in getting my schedule really set so that I didn’t feel like my business was running me. I was beginning to feel like a slave to my business and it came down to one thing - my lack of just taking back control.

After all, no one else controls my agenda but me!

So I took some time and wrote out my why, my business desires, and what I want to achieve.

I give huge credit to Ray Higdon, for the role he has played in getting control of my mindset and getting organized for success. Thoughts first, calendar second and that time is our most precious commodity. 

What I know is when you get your to do list prioritized and you commit to it, success is much more likely to happen.

Here is my day - 

I start with my morning routine.

I work out.

I tackle the most important things first, which are the income producing activities.

So, today I knocked out the most important parts of my day, and then I headed out on my beach walk with the dog, around 1pm.

While I was there, I was struck my something one of my other mentors, Richard Brooke, said once when I interviewed him. I asked him what was the best part of his career in Direct Sales, and he said - It allows me to live in beautiful places.

WOW! That really struck me!

And, it made me reflect on my own life and the many beautiful places I have lived and where I now live.
