Network Marketing Question How do I approach people about my business?
ANSWER
The invitation is critical.
You’ll have to find what fits for you, but here are the key things that matter.
First, your own belief, enthusiasm and posture. I can not stress this enough.
Be prepared so you present yourself as confident.
Detach from the outcome. I also can’t stress this enough.
If you follow this format, you’ll be fine with all of it -
Compliment Disarm and give an out Give time frame and system approach Ask a question that must be answered Pay attention to the word choices
Hey Sue, it’s Jackie calling. Listen, I really value your opinion as a business professional. I know you are really busy and this is probably not for you. I am expanding my business in Houston and I know you know a lot of people. I am wondering if you might take 5 minutes to watch an online video and let me know a few key people you think I should talk to in the Houston area? Would you be open to taking a look sometime this week?
Value your opinion You are busy and it’s probably not for you 5 minutes for a video Referrals Would you be open to….
So, go through this and see what fits for you and your business? How can you get the information in front of the in a short, concise way to just make a decision whether or not to go further?
Remember, that there is a psychology behind your word choices and how they land on the ears of your prospect. OPEN is key - who wants to be closed? 5 minutes is also key meaning it’s not going to take all day.
Play around a little and develop a script, or way of saying things that work for you!
