Should I buy from and support other Direct Sales and Network Marketing business owners? This is a great question and we will cover all aspects of it on today's show.

We’ve spent the last few shows going through how to launch a business, where I am sharing with you exactly the steps I am taking to grow a business from start to finish.

Should I buy from and support other Direct Sales and Network Marketing business owners?

Loyal customers are an important part of a solid Network Marketing business for long term stability, and distributors from other companies could become some of your best customers and ambassadors. In fact, solid customers who are not part of the compensation plan can be much stronger for your business than mediocre distributors who are only in it for the money, and once they quit, they stop using the products or services offered.

There are some things to keep in mind though....

It's a good idea to look for reciprocal agreements - I'll use your products, and you use my products. This is a win win. And, don't be afraid to shop around until you find someone who will also support you.

Be careful and think it through before you sign up as a distributor, though. In some cases, you can get the biggest discount if you are a rep for the company, but I am leery to put my name anywhere into a geneaology report or downline matrix.

Don't buy for the wrong reasons, and this would include just because they will buy from you. If the products and services are not something you will use, or that match your values, I would avoid it!

Make sure the product is value oriented, price wise, and not ridiculously over priced.

Be up front if there is something in the product that doesn't work for you, such as an allergic reaction. I have had this problem in the past with some skin care companies.

Share a testimonial if you love the product. Set boundaries around this so your name is not wrongly associated, however.

Be a "Go-Giver" and you'll likely find you get testimonials back!

Also, think of other small businesses in your local area that you can support in a similar way, who may also support your business. Become a strong ambassador of small business!

Provide samples whenever you can, so potential customers can consider buying from you.
