How to Get Yourself Started in Network Marketing

 

Well, sad but true, the day you join your network marketing business is not always the day you start.

 

Sometimes, we sit around waiting for the started kit to come, then we play with the products, and that is all great, but those are not income producing activities.

 

4 Beliefs For Network Marketing Success

 

Your Mindset and Belief for Network Marketing Your Belief in your Network Marketing Company Your Belief in your Network Marketing Company’s Products Your Belief in Yourself!

 

Let’s start with Your Mindset and Belief for Network Marketing. As you may recall, I struggled with this in my business. I had a very negative blue print regarding direct sales, and it was not based on anything factual. I overcame this, with time, and surrounding myself with those successful in Network Marketing. I could see these were great people, and I wanted to be among those ranks!

 

So, you must get comfortable with your decision to be involved, as a career choice, in Network Marketing and Direct Sales.

 

I share some of the facts around why many women Party Plan don’t like to consider themselves in Network Marketing and why the general public is often more receptive to buying from party plan companies vs network marketing companies. And, how the retail price point of the products offered make a difference. Are they comparable with similar products out in the market place? This will be important to your prospective customer and while we can easily SAY that our products are better, how do we get this point across to the consumer?

 

Your Belief in your Network Marketing Company

 

Are you confident you are leaning your ladder against a wall that is viable for your career in Network Marketing? As long as you are, it is full speed ahead. Don’t worry about little blips in the road, these happen in every company.

 

Your Belief in your Network Marketing Company’s Products

 

Do you have a solid belief here and are you fully confident sharing your products with your friends, family and those you encounter?

 

Your Belief in Yourself!

 

Ouch! This is the critical piece. Get clear and work on your mindset and belief in yourself, ALWAYS!

 

Okay, so once you are good to go with all of those, let’s talk about how to launch and success.

 

Some ideas to consider:

 

Be careful who you listen to and who you allow to coach you.

 

Invest in your starter kit and begin to replace EVERY product you use that your company offers with your company line. You can’t sell, for the long haul, what you don’t own, and have experienced. Do you have to use every product? Not always. Sometimes there are reasons not to.

 

Get some basic product knowledge, BUT, don’t go overboard. You’ll get a few basic questions repeatedly, so know the answer to those, but beyond that, know where to find answers such as ingredient lists, and so on. The best way to get product knowledge is to USE those products yourself.

 

Be able to share the unique benefits; how they are used; and your favorite products.

 

Begin to recommend your products to others and check into sampling, if available for your company.

 

Be willing to get creative if you need to find a way to sample/demo your products.

 

Make your 100 names list and keep adding to it. Don’t roll your eyes - just DO it!

 

From that list, you have all kinds of ways to contact them - home party/demo; text, phone call, Facebook message - what ever works for you, just do it.

Then, always be prepared with the next steps - some will not be interested, but more importantly, some WILL be interested. And always remember that some who say no now, will circle back around!

 

Rejection - yes, you can be disappointed but never feel rejected. There is no such thing! It’s just a decision they have made for their life situation!
